If it was cool when you were a kid, it’s cool for your kids! <br> <br>Baby clothing is quite a bit different today than it was when you were an infant. From the designer styles of Baby Dior and Baby Phat to the bizarre offerings of the alternative baby clothing market, there’s now something for every parent to adorn her children with in an effort to transfer a bit of her own personality onto her offspring. One of the latest trends in baby fashions is the “retro” look in baby wear. <br> <br>Retro baby clothing indicates baby sized tees and “Onesies” that have been printed or screened with images of pop culture past. In many cases the pictures are of icons from before even the parents’ time, making it cool to be the most obscure. Interested parties are not likely to find these offerings at the local Wal-Mart but will instead have to order them online. Fortunately for those interested in giving their children a little piece of the past to wear on their chests, there is no shortage of those sites available. <br><br>The most complete and probably best known of these sites is The Retro Baby. Perusing the offerings of the site is like a walk down memory lane for anyone who is in their thirties or has a keen fix on the pop-culture of the 1980s. Designs available here include television references like The A Team, ALF, CHiPs, and Dallas (the Dallas print will be instantly familiar to anyone who remembers the summer that America was wondering who shot J.R.) as well as older images from shows that the parents of today watched in reruns while growing up: Barbara Eden in her silky outfit from I Dream of Jeanie and Clayton Moore in his blue Texas Ranger outfit complete with black mask from The Lone Ranger. Prices for these printed “Onesies” are a bit steep at $14.95 ($16.95 for toddler-sized tees) considering the baby will grow out of them completely in a few months’ time, but even the most stoic of thirty-somethings will have to admit that they are getting a certain dose of cool for their cash. <br> <br>Retro doesn’t just mean pop culture references, however. Several clothiers are offering styles that are a clear throwback to those worn by kids in the fifties, sixties, and seventies. One such company, Cakewalk Baby, offers flower print designs reminiscent of the post-hippie era of the late seventies; a time when PC meant petty cash, Elvis Presley was still with us, and no one knew what a video game or MTV was. A website called Milena Bee offers these designs and more and is definitely worth a look. <br> <br>Whether you want to put stills of Bruce Lee from Enter the Dragon or flowery designs from an era gone by on your baby’s body, retro baby clothes may be just what you need to show the world that your baby is cooler than cool. Look hard enough and you may be able to find a tee shirt that says “I’m the Fonz” or “Frankie Say Relax.”

Organic Baby Clothing
In this day and age when people are looking for new and better ways to optimize their health, there has been a growing movement towards going organic. Organic food is naturally raised and grown and therefore free of additives and preservatives. Research has shown that the eating of organic food is far healthier for the human body – and supports a healthier environment. It stands to reason, therefore, that organic clothing does its part for the environment as well as a service to those who wear it. And no other organic clothing is as popular as organic baby clothing.
Just as organic produce and agricultural farmers raise their product with a commitment to using no pesticides, additives, or chemicals of any kind, organic cotton farmers are equally committed to their products and the environment at large. It has been reported that traditional cotton farming is responsible for using nearly a quarter of the world’s insecticides and more than ten percent of the world’s pesticides, making the growth of cotton an environmental crisis. Not only do these chemicals pollute the ground, air, and water in our environment but they embed themselves in the fabrics that we wear. Organic cotton farming ensures that no such chemicals are used and nothing could be more important than that when it comes to organic baby clothing.
As parents we are continually looking for ways to protect our baby’s sensitive skin. We do everything from using dye-free laundry detergent to hypoallergenic soaps and creams. But when we slip an ordinary cotton fabric over their heads, we may be exposing them to unseen irritants. Organic baby clothing uses only natural fabrics free of dyes and other chemicals so that parents can rest assured that only the simplest and most natural of fabrics is touching their baby’s skin.
Organic baby clothing can help reduce exposure to allergens and other irritants and keep Babies, Toddlers, Kids & Childrens comfortable. You can find organic baby clothing in many online locations as well as smaller specialty boutiques committed to the use of natural materials.
Baby and Children’s Clothing and Accessories
Harley-Davidson enthusiasts have long known what so many more are quickly discovering – “Harley-Davidson” is much more than just a famous brand name. It stands for quality, performance, and style. The diverse product line of licensed Harley-Davidson baby and children’s clothing, toys, furniture, and accessories is no exception.

The Harley-Davidson line of baby and children’s clothing includes items ranging from newborn booties to motorcycle jackets, and clothing for virtually any occasion. Available accessories include items such as head wraps, lunch totes, wallets, backpacks, and diaper bags. What sets these products apart, aside from the licensed brand name, is their quality and attention to detail. Many clothing items are 100% cotton or soft velour and offer a comfortable fit. Common detail elements include embroidered or woven patches featuring the Harley Bar and Shield logo or other Harley designs. Many of the newborn and infants outfits also come complete with a headband (for girl’s), hat, or doo rag cap.
The Harley-Davidson line of toys, furniture, and décor accessories includes items such as rockers, toy storage boxes, stools, and growth charts. Many parents these days are searching for unique products that break away from the common animal and flower themes so prevalent in baby décor. These Harley products offer parents that alternative. Unfortunately, Harley-Davidson crib bedding is not available as a licensed product, although it has been a common request received at our store (www.TinyTreasuresBaby.com). New products are available each season, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for this one to appear.
These products are not just for the motorcycle or Harley enthusiast. People who have perhaps a mild interest in motorsports or the Harley brand are discovering the quality and style of these products. Many of the customers on our site purchase Harley newborn clothing gift boxes as baby shower gifts for their friends who have some interest in or tie to the motorcycle community.
Although the Harley-Davidson brand is becoming more and more popular, the baby and children’s products are not necessarily easy to find. The Harley dealerships tend to carry a limited selection of these products, and many people do not live near enough to a dealership for convenient shopping. Those who have shopped at dealerships know their price tags can also be somewhat of a deterrent. Considering the cost of fuel these days, and our all-too-often over booked schedules, many people are opting to shop online. Very few web retail stores carry the licensed Harley line. Websites carrying specifically the baby and children’s clothing and accessories products are especially limited. We carry an extensive selection on our site at www.TinyTreasuresBaby.com, and we strive to offer them at very competitive and reasonable prices. Another site with good selections is www.BikersDen.com.
The Harley-Davidson baby and children’s clothing and accessories line is updated seasonally (spring/summer and fall/winter), so customers should check for brand new items, and updates on old favorites, especially in early spring and early fall. We at www.TinyTreasuresBaby.com have noticed that certain items are continuously in high demand – the Newborn Denim Bar and Shield Gift Set, motorcycle and denim jackets, the Spare Parts Gift Set, diaper bags, and newborn booties, just to name a few.
